Operating system and Browser statistics - February 2005

Observation:
Globally, the market share for Firefox is increasing while the statistics on my web site indicate the opposite. This is due to the fact
that the audience to this site has increased almost 4 times since December 2004 and as a result less technically oriented people are accessing my
web site. Firefox's market shares figures for February-2005 are much more realistic and in accordance with
other sources.
I do recommend Firefox over Internet Explorer and the reasons for this are very well explained on
Mozilla's home page. I am using
Firefox for about 6 months now and, besides some corporate Intranet applications that are not available to the public, all the web sites
that I know are fully compatible with this browser.
